Absolutely right!

I thought it might be good to mention, though, to prevent any possible confusion for any new validators who get her books, that they do not contain page breaks - which you would normally expect to see in a well-scanned submission. The software she uses puts in section breaks where the page breaks should be. In MS Word, this can be fixed by going to the Find and Replace dialogue and putting in ^b - caret (shift of the 6) b, which is the section break character - and replacing all of them with ^m - caret m, which is the page break character. This is probably one of the first things you will want to do with any books you download that she scanned. Then just read and enjoy. They are very good scans and an excellent place for a new validator to begin.

Incidentally, anyone know the keyboard combo for the section break in K1000?

Evan

New validators, Carrie's scans are fantastic. Here is a easy way to begin validating.
