Budd
I, when starting with Windows 5 or so years back, I used to feel the same
way about auto-complete.
I discovered, over time, that features such as these were blessings not
curses as I learned my around -- imagine having to type everything in on a
site 20-30 times a day and then having to remember different combos for
different sites.
There are a number of tutorials available to teach windows; and plenty of
instructors, including serveral on this list and Sarah immediately comes
to mind, who can teach how to get the most of your pc and screen reader.
Believe me, the time spent learning be it self-teaching, tutorial, or
instructor will be quickly earned back as you save time doing things, have
to ask continual questions and then waiting for possible replies, et al.
And I have no vested interest in the above comments as I have no tutorials
and/or services to sell.
