My experience is the same as that of Dave. Kep your file names simple and
place them in a directory set up for uploading to BookShare.
While I prepare my books in K1000, both for scanning and validating, when
I am ready to submit them, I save them to a directory called "\"\bs"
with a simple 8 character file name followed, of course, by the rtf
extension.
The file name is alphanumeric and contains no weird characters.
This helps a lot in avoiding the problem you describe and which most of us
have experienced at one time or another.
And, oh yes, sometimes I end up mistyping either when filling out the
BookShare form or when saving the problem.
Almost 100% of the time, I have found this problem to be the result of
human error on my end.
