It is pretty nifty and truly a gem. I haven't been sucessful with finding surrounding text, but it sure is an efficient way to find book details, and I'm sure part of not finding text related may be user error.

Hi Cindy!

After I wrote that I didn't find any hits in my webcrawler search, I found Mikes message, which is something I want to try. Thanks for reiterating what he posted in case I had missed it.

Mike posted that if you put the title of the book in google you *might* find it on google and be able to look at the table of contents page. I haven't tried it myself. He also said that if there are garbled words on a page and one puts some words on either side of the garbled stuff into google it might go to the page in the book and one can see what the garbled words are supposed to be..

If one can look inside the book one can sometimes see the table of contents page, but I'm told it's an image and so no help to a blind person, but any sighted volunteer wooould be happy to check amazon or google for you. As far as I know there is no site that has tables of contents of all books.
