That's exactly what I thought too, and why I didn't leave blank lines before
and after the asterisks. I remember we even discussed this while working on
Backstairs at the White House. *smile*

I thought all blank lines except page break, pagination and chapter heading
protection are stripped by the tool. I have never had blank lines before
and after the asterisk line denoting white space. I need to know if I
should revice my process.
