Hi Cindy,Since Bookshare's tools remove the blank lines anyway, it's silly to worry about whether to put them in. If the asterisk is there, indicating white space, then that is all that really matters.

O.K. Now I'm a little confused. I've been putting the asterisk *in* the double-blank space before the next text. Am I supposed to also leave a blank line? Should it be text blank line asterisk blank line then text? Or text aterisk (indicating that there was a double space) then text?CindyWish List (i.e., books wanted added to the collection) and books-being-scanned list available at sites belowWish List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Bookshare+Wish+ListBooks Being Scanned List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Books+Being+Scanned+List--- On Mon, 12/28/09, Mayrie ReNae <mayrierenae@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:From: Mayrie ReNae <mayrierenae@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: simple questions To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Monday, December 28, 2009, 7:21 PM Hi Valerie, It's really a matter of personal proofreading preference. You're doing just fine, if it works for you. Bookshare's tools do strip all blank lines ultimately. Clear as mud? I have never had blank lines before and after the asterisk line denoting white space. I need to know if I should revice my process.
