Shane,
Sometimes the back cover may not scan well as it is in a font or color the
scanner does not particularly like according to what sighted people have
told me. Perhaps someone with vision could comment further and more
accurately on this.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] scanning the back of a hard-cover book
Hi folks. Anyone know the best way to scan the back of a hard-cover book
where the book jacket information is usually found? I've tried it on the
default settings with k1000 version 11, but my results have been less than
satisfactory. Any help would be most appreciated.
Shane
