Hi Robert,
The problem is that i can't find that choice or setting anywhere in this
version of FR. Of course it could just be that I don't know where to look for
it. It doesn't appear to be in the settings when I tell it to start scdanning
and the dialog comes up and not in any of the pull down menus.
Any other ideas?

Isn't there a whole page on some site somewhere about fr settings? In any
case, you Have to go into fr's options and set scan dual images on.

Dan, I know with Omnipage, I have to tell it to look for facing pages, or
else it does exactly as you described.
