Diana Gabaldon. Bookshare has all her books. If they don't come up in your search type in one of the titles of her books. Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, Drumbs of Autom, The Fierry Cross, A Breath of Snow and Ashes. Then she has a miner character in those books I just named with his own series. Lord John and The Private Matter, and Lord John and The Brotherhood of the Blade.
