Hi Melissa,

        I found a similar problem with a book that I'm supposed to be
scanning that is first, two titles linked together, one of which I know
nothing about.

        I would like to respectfully submit that perhaps the being scanned
list needs to be abandoned as it is, and begun again from scratch.  And
perhaps, rather than each of us telling every book that we intend to scan
ever, that we state each month, only those books that we know we can get to
that month.

        It just seems so much simpler, and cleaner, and so much, much less
work.  Also, there are books on that list being scanned by folks whom I've
never seen on this list, and that have been on the list for years, since the
list was started.

        I really think it would be easier to begin the list from scratch.  I
hate to abandon a project with so much work put into it, but somehow the
list seems to have gotten terribly terribly corrupted.

Please, Cindy, don't think I'm passing judgment on your work.  I'm not.  I'm
starting to suspect that you have been a victim of some evil computer
gremlins.  Files trashed by forces incomprehensible to nongeeks like me.
