Jamie,

Yes, it's possible to clean up a book in the collection and submit it as a
replacement for the existing copy. It's just more complicated now that Page
Breaks are required.

Members who have K-1000 can download the DAISY book and convert it to RTF
using K-1000, and the Page Breaks will be included in the RTF file. The
RTF file can then be cleaned up and resubmitted as a replacement for the
existing copy. That's provided the DAISY book has Page Breaks to start
with. Books added to the collection prior to April 2005 may not have any
since they weren't required until then. In that case, the Page Breaks
would have to be inserted by hand, just as if someone converted the HTML
file unpacked with the DAISY book to RTF. In those cases, it might be
easier to rescan the book since the book obviously has some issues in the
first place.

So Gerald, essentially, there is no way to download a book from Bookshare's
already approved collection, clean it up and resubmit it, right? Because you
can only download as BRF or Daisy and neither one of those are approved
submission forms.
