Hi Pam,
It sounds like you want to put yourself through a great deal of unnecessary
pain-and-suffering. If you want to use K1000 as the front end for the OCR,
why would you want to use FineReader as the interface to your scanner? The
image files that you would be trying to pass along to K1000 wouldn't be the
product of FineReader, but rather your scanner software.
Now I realize this doesn't answer your question, but I just thought it
worth mentioning, and I'm afraid I'm an Openbook user and not sure what
image formats K1000 handles.
