[bksvol-discuss] question re spaces between paragrapgs

Please forgive me. After so man years of proofing I should know this, but
suddenly I'm foggy, and my file looks odd, and the manual isn't helping me.
Am I remembering correctly that a space between paragraphs will be
automatically deleted and so I don't have to manually delete it? In fact, if I
want to keep it I need to put an asterisk or two?
