Hi Grace,
    My understanding is that BRL is a simpler format of BRF. In which case, 
you'd need to edit in BRF to keep the quality of the transcribed Braille, yes 
there would be translation errors.

    The system should expect the book back in BRF format anyways...

I can open it in K1000 but will there be translation errors when I convert to
