Hello
Aidee:

If you press numpad three times you will find that It is character 173 a soft hyphen.

( see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soft_hyphen ;)

Hello All:

This is Aidee, one of the proofreaders. I have a (hopefully) quick question. I’m reading a book someone scanned for one of my classes, and there’s this character that keeps showing up that splits words. However, JAWS isn’t reading it out loud, so I am not really sure what it is. Do any of you lovely knowledgeable people know what it could be? I have copied and pasted it below.

It is right after “say.”

Thank you all so much for your time and help.
