When I did the Kingsford outdoor cooking books, there was a note that all of the fractions had been checkedd for accuracy. When reading the book I had no difficulty in reading those fractions, such as 1/2 cup, etc. It would take a sighted person to look at the book and the computer screen to be sure that everything matched. You might want to look for Kingsford in the index, just to see how it came out.

I have never been involved in a recipe book but I am aware that most of them on Bookshare are a mess; however, a few seem to have solved the problems of dealing with fractions. I am a braille reader where I think this is especially important. Could someone give directions as to how these fractions must be changed to accommodate the braille reader. There arerecipes whose fractions need to be varified against the print copy of thebook. Sorry to disappoint.
