[bksvol-discuss] Re: question

Hi Mayrie-- Thanks for the heads up. I have someone that is sighted that can go over the recipes before submiting the book to bookshare.

Hi Georgina,

I don't see a problem, if no one else is scanning that particular
book. Those books do need a sighted proofreader because they contain
recipes that should be represented accurately. Sadly, fractions almost
always don't scan accurately. So, you might put out the call for a sighted proofreader unless you have someone around who can see to fix up the recipes
before you submit. Just a heads up, as I have scanned this author's books
before.

I hope you're enjoying the book!

Mayrie

Hi All-- I looked at the books being currently scanned, and I saw that Mayrie is scanning or will scan Strawberry Shortcake Murder and Chocolate Chip Murder by Joanne Fluke, and that Amber W. is scanning or will scan another book by
her. My question is it alright for me to submit Key Lime Murder once I'm
done scanning it? I'm about half way done with it. I don't want to step on
anybody's toes.
