Hi Jane. Coorrect away is the rule if you are sure the word is a word
recognition error.. That is what I do and I know scanners misinterpret
words. Welcome to our volunteer group by the way..

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] proofreadinf a book
I just (as in this evening0 started to be able to access the volunteer
pages. I've downloaded a book in brf format to look through and validate.
The quesiton is this. If I find a word that I can tell in context what it
is, am I allowed to correct it? Or do I have to leave it alone?
Jane
