I recall this question coming up before. If they are on unnumbered pages, and the regular page numbering picks up again after the pictures are done, then you can move them to the back of the book. Personally, this is very much preferable to just leaving them out. The thought of doing something like that is anathema to me.

The manual states that if there are pages of pictures in the middle of a book without page numbers, they should be left out of the text. My question is this: Can they be placed in the back of the book? There is often some interesting information there. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Grandma Cindy" <popularplace@xxxxxxxxx>

Terra,

I know your problem with Alligators has been resolved,
but to answer your question about captions--yes, it's
good to include them, but try to find a place on the
page that won't interrupt a sentence. I try to place
them between paragraphs close to one that has to do
with the picture. Sometimes I put them at the top or
bottom of the page but only if the last sentence is
complete and not carried over to the next page.

I think i figured out what the problem was. There
are picture captions, I'm
assuming, and that's why it wasn't making sense to
me, but after I figured
out that's what it probably is, it makes sense. Do I
leave them in?

I usually vote for rejecting. If it seems really
messed up let's
reject. Do name the book on the volunteer list
though. I know I
just contradicted my earlier message. (grin)
