Cindy,  if you find page numbers at the top of the book,  leave them at 
the top and follow with a blank line.  If you find page numbers at the 
bottom,  leave them at the bottom and preceed them with a blank line.

Guido,and/or administrators --

If we didn't put the page numbers on the first line (I
thought we'd been told to put them on the first line
then skip a line before the body of the page) but
instead on the second, would they still be stripped?
Wouldit be all right to put them at the bottom of the
page if in the book they're at the top?
