Lea, I didn't realize you're sighted. It's nice to have another sighted person to help with things. I think someone others are partially sighted and help with things that need sighted help, too, I've had a similar question--why does it matter if some of the old books are sitting in someone's pile, waiting to be validated, or on page one? I have, in the past, taken them, planning to validate them, when I've been chastised and told to return them because others might want to validate them. Yet when I've gotten around to them, they were still there. I think people's comments about the books sitting on page one are just a reminder that they're there and a hope that someone will be moved to validate them and get them into the collection, where they will do someone good, which they don't do on page one. Especiallt the ark and kes books which require programs to validate that many of us, like you, don't have. smile Cindy ____________________________________________________________________________________Get the Yahoo! toolbar and be alerted to new email wherever you're surfing. http://new.toolbar.yahoo.com/toolbar/features/mail/index.php To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
