Hmmm. My idea was that the original validator would still get the credit. The way things are now, the original validator won't get any credit, even after working to correct the book, because a second validator will spend his/her time validating the whole book and will get the credit--assuming that he/she also corrects the author or copyright info. If not, and it's a person who assumes author and copyright info are correct and doesn't change them, the book will get kicked back yet again. That has happened. I guess E's suggestion of having a second list for kickbacks that would be easier to check, presumably, because it would be a shorter list, would be one solution. Another would be tha validators would get a notice to fix those things in the form, the same way submitters now get a notice that their books has been accepted or rejected.
