Like I told Ann, B&H is a photography super store in NYC with wide range of
electronics. The sad thing is, Amazon had the 3900 at five price points that
day, three with Prime, but today the only Prime offering is from Adorama at
$299.99. Not sure if they all show up in the access site, but there are ten on
the regular site from $269 pals shipping to just over $500, and all are
identical.
Sigh; it just can’t be easy. Frown. We still have a 3600 in Nichole’s room we
got off eBay if someone gets desperate, but it sometimes takes me weeks to get
things in the mail.

It did have 2 discs for software, one for Windows, one for Mac.
I am Windows. I would love to someday try a Mac.
My theory on what went wrong with my 3800 is that the locking mechanism
somehow got messed up.
Because the light bar when it would go back to the beginning would get
stuck. I called around and everyone tells me they would charge like 50
dollars to look but no promises. And that parts would probably be sky high.
So I am debating what to do with the old one.
