I tried editing a file in WordPad and it did not destroy page breaks. However, it does not show page breaks, so you cannot tell where they are except in page preview mode. So, Wordpad can be used for the trick to fix a file that won't upload, but that's it. You cannot add a page break in WordPad and if you delete one, you won't know it. Validating in WordPad is impossible. Well, you could read through correcting scannos and such, but you would still have to finish in some other program to make sure the page breaks are right. And there is no way to convert the section breaks in Carrie's files to page breaks. Monica I do know we were advised not to validate in wordpad. I thought the reason given was ruining of page breaks. E. At 07:14 PM 11/22/2007, you wrote: >Hi, E.
