[bksvol-discuss] Re: not removing messages about books being scanned

A person may, for example, decide to not scan a book they previously thought they would scan. Or a volunteer who said they were going to scan a book leaves the volunteer community, or becomes ill or has to put their energy elsewhere. Or someone says they want to scan a book, and can't find a copy anywhere. Those are some real-life examples of other ways a book can get removed from the being scanned list. smile.

Why would anyone ask that a book be removed from the being scanned list unless it had been scanned and either entered the collection or some other list that we are supposed to check?
