Hi, Cindy. As you know, I had the same problem just a week or two ago. I called my server and they said the problem wasn't on their end. John Glass (at Benetech) re-subscribed me on Friday morning, but that didn't help. He re-subscribed me AGAIN on Monday afternoon, and it worked perfectly. Anyway, that's what happened with me. Please forward this to Mayrie for me, and thanks. Marilyn On Aug 18, 2008, at 10:43 PM, Cindy wrote:
Have any of you seen Mayrie's note of a day or two ago about the fact that she hasn't bee receiving most of the mail from these lists? Her mail account is comcast.com (I suppose that's her server, too?) She's asking if anyone has been or did have a similar problem and how you solved it. Please write to her at Mayrie ReNae <mrenae@xxxxxxxxxxx > or post here and I'll forward your advice. All I could think of to tell her was to contact comcast.Cindy --- On Mon, 8/18/08, Mayrie ReNae <mrenae@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:From: Mayrie ReNae <mrenae@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: RE: mail not received To: popularplace@xxxxxxxxx Date: Monday, August 18, 2008, 3:07 AM Hi Cindy, Yes, the spam filter just got turned offf yesterday, after I have no idea how long I've been getting only a tiny portion of list mail. Still broken as of now. Do you know what others did to fix this? Some email accounts delete mail without putting it into a spam filter. Comcast has caused other people trouble in the past. Several lists I sent out bounced back and they were to comcast subscribers. It finally got straightened out, though. Good luck.
