Hi all,
Oh, Jim, that's so wonderful! I am sure that many, many people in and
around Chennai are saying "Nandri, nandri, nandri!" (Thank you) That
is the one word I came away with from India. Three two week stints
isn't time to learn a language which has no connection to anything I
know about. There are no cognates to hang your hat on, like there are
in Spanish or French. Maybe I'm too old to learn new things?
