I talked to Engineering, and they think it's probably an obscure IE error. 
They're working on fixing it right now. 
I would expect that the old Bookshare website used cookies just like the new 
one, but maybe not... I'll pass the idea to them.

Hey Carrie,

Can you find out from enginerring if the username and passwords are stored 
in cookies?  If so this might cause this probloem if folks have cookies 
turned off.
