Hi Monica, Bookshare does still keep up the "books in processing list." I find that one helpful too. This list is for asking questions, sharing experience, and helping people who are volunteering. I'm not sure what you were asking about earlier. I would be glad to help you though if you'll please repost your question. It looks like I missed seeing it. Questions from beginners or from volunteers who need a refresher are definitely part of what this list is for. No question is too elemental if you don't know the answer. (smile) As for lists you have to check, are you referring to lists like the planning to scan list? If so, there are no official Bookshare lists. Cindy maintains several lists for things like the wish list and books people are planning to scan. She does this as a service to us, and no one is required to use them in order to volunteer. She created the planning to scan list so people wouldn't go out and buy the same book to scan. One time, three of us bought a mystery in one night because we wanted to read it. Two of us could have saved money if we'd known the book had been bought. She also maintains the wish list so people who are ready to scan will have some idea of what Bookshare members want to read. Again, Rebecca, if you're having trouble with something, please repost your question, and I'll do my best to help you. -- Monica Willyard Visit my blog at http://www.scannersguild.com To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
