But both of those examples are in the dictionary, as well as being in the
spell checking word list, and, for that matter, the thesaurus.

I am amazed at how many common words are not included in the standard dictionary included with version 9. Also, the dictionary does not seem to know about words such as un... as in unfamiliar or unknown. It may know those two specific examples but you get the idea.
