Serpent's Gift, Starbridge book 5 by A. C. Crispin and Deborah A. Marshall. This book had more swearing than I like in it--more than the other books in the series. Also, I forgot to protect the chapter headings, so if someone validates it it would be great if you could do that. Thanks, Kellie
