Guido, If it is not too much to ask, could you outline the methods you use to check Chapter and page headers. If they are badly scrambled, I have always left them, as I understood Bookshare removes page headers. I remove badly scrambled chapter headers, as they are sometimes impossible to decipher without sighted help. I already remove tabs and junk characters and long strings of spaces and the other items you mentioned,, but I have always wondered about strings of blank lines. I am sure I and the other members of the list can benefit from your suggestions.
