Well, at least one of the things he does, and I would imagine this takes up a good chunk of his time, is answer questions from volunteers. I've written twice to him with different issues, and he has been prompt and thorough with his replies.

If John's coming on staff has no impact on the release of Marisa's list in terms of it being released more often, and if he has nothing to do with updating the wish list so volunteers can have an idea of what is currently already being scanned from it, what role does he play relating to volunteer activity?
