I keep hearing validators who are concerned about books which have hold for in their titles and remain on step 1 for months. What specific books have hold for in the titles and have been on step 1 for months? Validators who ask for a "hold for" designation usually have a good reason to ask for it. The validator may be temporarily unable to grab a book. But if somebody notices something which has been on step 1 a long time, just ask about it please rather than grabbing it first.
