Monica W., I prefer to use the amazon.com cpoyright page when it's available. Unfortunately not all publishers let us "see inside the book" yet. Often the problem that results in the message--"check copyright" is that the submitter has put the author as the copyright holder when he/she perhaps isn't, or the has put the publisher in. On at least one occasion I know of, the copyright name was so close to the page break that the validator couldn't see/hear/feel--whatever--it. When he sent me the copyright page I found it. Also, I think, sometimes the validator doesn't read what was in the various spaces, assuming that they are correct, and goes right to the second page; since the first page wanot, in fact, correct, because the submitter has made a mistake, te book gets kicked back. Tell your daughter's doing her good deed for the day and earning psychic income. (a phrase I just learned and love).
