It is interesting that the NFB passed a resolution in opposition to guide horses. Actually, the resolution refers to inappropriate guide animals, but it is clear that they had horses in mind. I know for me at this moment in my life a guide horse would not be practical, even though the longevity is a great thing. My job requires a compact little guide, and a lot of traveling in a small car, irregular schedules and strange environments in different houses.
