Hi Katie,
If you have version 10, yes. Pull down the edit menu and look in the table
submenu located at the bottom of that menu. Both delete table and convert to
text options are available.

In Word, put the cursor in side the table, pull down theTable menu, and
either choose Delete if you want to get rid of the table, or Convert then Table
to Text if you want to convert the table to text.

tables and I need them gone.
