Hi, Carrie. There are also numerous instances where Ph.D. is listed as an
author, so that leads me to believe there are authors without the suffix of
Ph.D. when it should be there. Good luck! I have a feeling that's going to
be a daunting task but hope, for your sake, it isn't too bad. *smile* Take

Hi everyone,
I have volunteered to help clean up the Bookshare database, and I'd like
to ask for some assistance. Marissa commented that sometimes the same
author is listed under several names. I took a quick look and found
'Lawrence Schiller' and 'Lawrence Schiller.' - obviously they're the same
person, but the database lists them as 2 separate people. If you know of
any such mistakes or misspellings of names, could you please let me know
about them? I'd like to collect as many mistakes as possible, and then go
to Bookshare and fix them all. I'm hoping there won't be tooooooo many,
but I just don't know what to expect. Please write me off-list (I don't
want to clog the discussion group with this) at ckarnos@xxxxxxxxxx
