Hi Cindy,

What you remember is correct, but the submissions must have HARD PAGE
BREAKS. Bookshare no longer accepts .txt files.

I'm a little confused. txt files can be saved as rtf and then submitted. I
seem to remember that losing page breaks et al was the situation in
reverse--you could validate in rtf but when converted to txt everything was
lost. Back when txt files were submitted, I downloaded and converted them to
Word and then rtf and validated them and then uploaded them as rtf when I
was finished.

I would think that you could convert her txt files to rtf and then work on
them. the only problem would be knowing where the page breaks and numbers
belong, but I seem to remember--and I might be wrong because it was quite a
while ago--that there were spaces between txt pages, though not hard page
breaks.
