Hello, E.

I think that this sort of issue, which you explain very well, is one of the reasons Nan expressed a need for training. Submitting and certainly validation are learned by doing, but we all fear making mistakes, runing a submission somehow in the validation process, etc.

Lisa the trouble is there are conflicting opinions in the bookshare volunteer community about how to adequately protect chapter and story titles.

Many of us have been putting three blank lines above the chapter number but now some people are saying that the stripper removes such blank lines. We need info about how to work well with the stripper so chapter and story and section titles are protected and that info has to come from staff who understands the workings of the stripper and how it can be prevented from removing chapter numbers, story titles, and section titles.

Some folks suggest using a line of asterisks instead of s several blank lines.

We are asking for feedback in an official form. If you do not know perhaps somebody else can provide it.

If the longtime volunteers are confused I can only imagine the state the new folks must be in.
