My standard excuse for not doing house work is that I didn't have a good book to listen to while I did it. My husband has become used to the excuse and rarely protests my use of it now. :-) I only wish I could hear my computer reading to me well enough when doing some chores. It works for dusting and other tasks that don't involve leaving the living room or kitchen as well as not running water, but as soon as you have to run water it doesn't work. I tried to buy a pair of wireless headphones to solve that problem, but they hissed so loud I couldn't stand them, so I brought them back to the Sharper Image store where I bought them. Just a worning for other electronic book addicts that might be tempted. Taking a spray bottle to rinkled things and throwing them back in the dryer often helps. I do have a tiny travel iron and ironing board, but I only use it at home and only about once a year when I find that all other methods for removing the rinkles have failed.
