[bksvol-discuss] facetious remarkRE: Re: Bookshare's Policy & Perspective on its Lists

Hi, Roger, of course, if the egg is no longer in its shell, you can trample
as much as you please. I understand that if you add eggshells to your
compost or mulch, whatever grows in your garden will get a benefit from it,
I.e., the crushed eggshells. If, however, you happen to tromp on an egg in
its shell, you know what you end up with, either very messy footwear or
dirty feet, depending on whether you were wearing shoes at the time or not.
Regards, Kim.

And the problem with catering to the most brittle members is that one never
knows what will set them off. It creates a situation known as walking on
eggshells.

                                                                 "The end
may justify the means as long as there is something that justifies the end.

So the list does in fact cater to the most brittle members.

I would have preferred something closer to the fidonet rule:
Do not be excessively annoying, do not be excessively annoyed.
