I use a screen reader and it really does not bother me. I tend to ignore them very easily...years of experience. *L*

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] eliminating headers

Like Cindy Lou, I eliminate them as I get to each
page, or, being careful to save the page number, I
copy and replace with nothing. I don't say "yes" to
return to the beginning, though, in case title or
author might be deleted from the front pages.

If we leave them, the bookshare stripper takes them
out, theoretically, but since they're not always
exactly the same, it leaves some in and they serve no
purpose but, I understand, they get in the way of
people reading with Daisy; I don't know about Braille.
A sighted reader can ignore them.
