It does help. I use Window-eyes instead of Jaws. I will probably do my editing on the braillenote and then make it colorful on the computer. I plan to assist those doing term papers, theses and other documents. My grammar is good and I can correct style pretty well. I may ask further questions here. You folks are so knowledgeable.

Jaws 5 and above has a feature in verbosity to allow it to tell you the font
color. I shall have to go find the exact reference.

And second.

To change the color of a font, do the following in word.

1. Highlight the particular word or passage or section.
2. Go to Format, then Font
3. Tab down till you hear "font color". Down arrow till you start to hear
the menu of colors. Pick the desired color, and then tab out of that box.
You can hit Alt O for o.k. or tab to O.k.

This font color will be on till you go to the next section and pick another
color.

I use color a lot for visual effect on poster sessions and presentation hand
outs.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.

This is not a bookshare question but rather an editing one. Suppose I am
correcting a paper and want to highlight things in different colors to mean
different things. First, I assume I will do it in word so let's use word
as an example. As a blind person, please eexplain how I can do the
following and how I can read it with speech afterwards.

Editor Legend
(A)
Words highlighted in
red
  should be
deleted from the paper.
(B)
Words highlighted in
green
  should be
added to the paper.
(C)
Sections highlighted in
yellow
   indicate a
change in grammar, spelling, or punctuation.
(D)
Words written in
blue
are comments
Thanks.
