Hi, Jamie. I like your idea for kids under 12. The Bookshare tool for assessing adult content has some pretty broad words in it. It looks for hate speech, not just profanity or sexual content. We can override its setting, and I've had to do that twice with books that were about mundane topics with no swearing or sex in sight.

I validated a book recently that came back with the Bookshare tool saying it had 14 words that were found to be adult or profanity and I know darned well this book had no such thing!
