Hi, does anyone remember the books about Sue Barton? I only got my hands on
a Braille copy of Sue Barton: Student Nurse but have forgotten the author's
name? Was Sue Barton a character in a series? I remember the title of
another book I liked called A Cap for Mary Ellis but again have forgotten
the author's name. I can see it now! Series of books about the training of
nurses being added to the collection. I can understand this because my
mother worked at Birmingham High School during World War II when she was in
the Navy and it was a hospital. She got a medical dictionary and if I asked
her, she would read entries from it about diseases (I remember her reading
about leprosy and tuberculosis). Yeah, I admit it. I dabbled in reading
about nurses when I was a pre-teen and into my teenage years. Sorry, guys, I
know this is off topic, but I was curious and thought you might know. Thanks
for your forbearance. Regards, Kim.
