Hi:
I have turned off html in my messages to the list so from now on K1000 text should be visible. If it's not, Cindy, please let me know when it happens. *grin*

I ran into this problem some years ago, when I attempted to paste a
quote from a book into an e-mail to my mom. I copied the quote from K1000,
and pasted it into Outlook Express. When my mom got the e-mail, she thought
I had forgotten to past in the quote. I was totally puzzled, since I could
read the text with my screen reader.

My kids figured out the problem, and we were able to change the way text
is displayed in K1k. Just to be sure, I check with someone, when I paste
text into an Outlook Express message, to make certain it is visible.

Grace, Cindy and list,

I have encountered the white text issue when copying directly from
kurzweil
to programs like MS word or e-mail. Instead of using the control v paste
command, try using the paste special option under the edit menu. I have
to
arrow down through the edit menu and hit enter on paste special since I'm
not aware of a keyboard shortcut for it. Then there's a dialog box and hit
enter on unformatted text. This will add the copied text and get rid of
any
font/color options and put the text in the same font as the document or
mail
message into which the text is pasted. I've also had the same problem with
completely black text from Kurzweil.
