Mickey,

After reading your and Jake's posts, I suggest that before you release a book 
that's hard to fix post here, or write to someone like me offlist, to see if 
there's someone willing to fix it or to agree to rescan it.  If there isn't, 
then you can feel comfortable in rejecting it. If there is someone who would 
like to validate in the absence of anyone who is willing to rescan, then you 
can release it and that person can take it. Then it won't just sit on the 
download list or be continually downloaded and released by others. smile
