Hi Kellie, Thanks for the tip, and the welcome back. I really did miss this list. *smile* I'll take the tip on creating a fake header. I've been putting in a couple of extra lines before a chapter header, but now I'm thinking that probably wasn't enough. Glad you thought the book was a good scan. I was having a problem for a while where Kurzweil kept wanting to put in spaces before accented letters, so I've been working to fix that before I submit a book. I hope the book you submitted was better. Take care, Donna ----- Original Message ----- From: Kellie Hartmann To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, May 26, 2005 9:47 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: chapter headings??? Hi Donna, and welcome back. Your concern about chapter headings is far from petty; we've all been rather frustrated with the overzealous stripper of late. The best thing to do when submitting or validating is to make a fake header above the chapter number. Btw, I validated a Spanish book you submitted, and it was a very excellent scan. Kellie
