What I should have said is that I think what's happening is that the CGI script you're seeing queries the server to get your statement, which in turn is actually a PDF file, not CGI.

I downloaded Adobe Reader 8 and was able to read them. Somebody mentioned using notepad. When I tried it no such luck. I like reading pdf in Kurzweil because the bell rings when it is ready to read.
